His exellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar had his first Town Hall meeting today with Nigerian women. The Town Hall meeting which was organised by PDP with representation of all women groups across Nigeria was designed to interface with that very important demography which constitutes about 60% of our population.
It was also in recognition of the role of women in building our democracy as wives, mothers and sisters.
The Waziri of Adamawa reeled out his audacious but achievable plans for women with major areas of:
INCLUSIVENESS
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
FREE HEALTH CARE FOR MATERNAL WOMEN
The meeting was attended by other PDP chieftains including Kwankwaso, Turaki, Senator Olujimi et al.
At the end of the meeting the women were excited and full of smiles and hope for a better Nigeria.
