Senator Barau Jibrin
representing Kano North presented his lead debates on his bill titled,
“ A Bill for an Act to
establish the Federal Polytechnic Kabo to provide full-time courses in technology,
applied science management and other fields of study and to make provisions for the general administration
of the polytechnics and for other related matters, 2017”
In his lead debate, he
noted the following:

That school will create more access to
high technical education
·
Will balance the geographical spread of
higher institutions
·
Provide technical and management expertise
for middle and highest level of management
·
It will be the first Federal Polytechnic
in Kano
The Bill was passed and
referred to Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and Tefund to report back
in two weeks.
