ANAMBRA STATE, THE EPICENTRE OF FDI AS MORE OIL WELLS ARE DISCOVERED

The recent story in the media of more oil wells discovery in Anambra State has made Anambra State the epicentre of Foreign Direct Investment FDI in Nigeria. It all lends credence to the doggedness of Senator Stella Oduah, who worked very hard to enlist the state as one of the gazetted Oil Producing States in Nigeria.

As we all know, the benefits are enormous and its only a visionary leader like Senator Stella Oduah who forsees the economic future of her people ahead and works in tandem with that vision to actualize it.

Very soon, Anambra State will struggle to contain the high number of investors coming into the state for oil exploration and other industries that will adorn the value chain.

The Implication is the economy of the state will flourish vis a vis job creation for the youths and poverty alleviation with further drop of Anambra State from the poverty index nationally. This will create a diversified economy that will benefit all at the long run.

It’s only once in a while, that a people are blessed with a colossus and a generational leader in the name of Stella Oduah, a woman who has paid her dues in our political landscape and is committed to empowerment of our youth to leave footprints of legacies that will outlive generations.
