Barrister Vincent Ofumelu
has finally yielded to the pressure from our people of Oyi/Ayamelu Constituency
who have been beckoning on him to come and rescue us and restore the glory of
the constituency which has been long lost due to inneffective representation.
Our people have suffered
soo much due to bad leadership that has no vision and passion for the people.
Democracy without dividends is dead ab initio. People elect their leaders to
protect their interest and contribute to the development of the communities.
Our communities are battling
lack of basic amenities like good roads, solar powered street lights, clean and
available water within the reach of everyone et al.
The situation is compounded
by lack of opportunities and empowerments to our youths especially the ones
that toiled day and night to acquire education only to find themselves on the
street every day searching for jobs that are not available.
Barrister Ofumelu is a
grassroots man of the people who is in tune with the plight and challenges of
his people. The news of his participation has elicited joy and jubilation among
the communities who have longed to see him represent them.
Now that the choice of
the people has acquiesced to the demands of the people, lets join hands to give
him the crown of leadership because it suits him.
