HOPE UZODIMMA VS ROCHAS OKOROCHA- UNNECESSARY TENSION

The entire media is awashed with reports of violence between Governor Uzodimma security and Rochas Okorocha's aides over the issue of locking and unlocking the most beautiful resort in Imo State Royal Palm Hotels.

I am not a politician neither am i a tug who eats from the crumbs that fall off the table of a politician, so what is sure is that my views will be subjective and not influenced by my life which is hinged on any of these two politicians hence devoid of sentiments.

Before this issue came to this level of violence, i had read previously how the Govt of Imo state under Hope Uzodimma is planning to demolish this beautiful edifice under the excuse that it was  built on the water ways.

A cursory look at this beautiful hotel will reveal that it is not interferring on the flow of the river beside it and if there is need to dredge the river, that could be done without touching this beautiful place.

I do not hold brief for any one and i dont really care which money was used in building it. One thing is sure, it was built in Imo state. So the ownership does not matter much to me. The reasons are obvious.

If we assume that it was built with Imo state tax payers money siphoned by Roche and his family, my good question is, any Nigerian politician that is not corrupt should please cast the first stone on Rochas.

I actually commend the courage of Rochas to build these things in Imo regardless of if the ownership is under him or not. The reasons are not far fetched.

Most Ibo politicians prefer to take the stolen tax payers money outside the country either in Europe, America or even in soutrh Afruca  to creaet jobs for those economies while the state where the money was stolen wallows in ruins of lack of infrastructure. The reasons are obvious because they do not want a trace for easy take over. But Rochas, opted to develop his state with the so called state's money, what is wrong with it.

Uzodimma should give the man some space. As a matter of facts, these cases are still in court. He should wait for the court of jurisdiction to decide before continuing his destruction strategy.

Govt is a continuum and Imo state is big enough to accommodate every ones legacy or dreams. Rochas has built his onw legacy in Imo state, his, let him be. Invest your energy in building your own legacies instead of chasing Rochs adn his family while the clock ticks for you. Imo state should be the end gainer for this and not destroying what was built with tax payers money because you want to destroy his legacies. This is absolutely ridiculous and elementary in nature.

Hospital that worth billions has been destroyed.  School that worth billions has been shut while young people are denied access to education all in the name of recovering stolen property. This is governance gone awry and no sane society will tolerate this.

The most annoying part is that the so called new Ohaneze President is no where to be found while his state is in crisis.

This is totally despicable and unacceptable at any lenght.

Uzodimma should channel his energy in building his own legacy in Imo state and allow the legacy of another person to see the light of the day as Imo state and indeed the world is too big for all of us.

I hereby call on Ohaneze and South East govenors to call Uzodimma to order and advice him to leave investment in Imo alone and work towards building his own legacy in the state.
