FROM ME TO YOU

 

Just woke up this morning troubled

Troubled in my mind

Troubled not because I was in trouble

But because I know you will not be in the meeting today

Yes, you will not be in the meeting today

 

You will not be in attendance not because you don’t want to attend

Not because you are busy

Not because of your work and business

Not because of lack of fund

Not because of any personal reason

Yet you will not attend

 

I know you will not be at the meeting

The congregation of our people

To discuss the way forward for our dear community

Yes, you will not be there

 

In your absence

Who will speak for us in very boldness

Who will be there for us

Who will take those bold financial decisions

Who! Who! And Who

 

My brother my brother

You have inspired more people than you know

You have encouraged thousands

Who look up to you in challenging times

Who always have you in their mind

Who pray for you at all time

 

Then I asked myself

What is wrong

What went wrong

Where did we get it wrong

Oh we are all wrong

 

This is the time to right the wrong

This is the time to embrace one another

In love, in peace, in oneness

To move forward together

For we are stronger together
