A UNITED SOUTH, THE ONLY WAY TO RESCUE THIS HOUSE FROM THE CANCKERWORMS

 

The trajectory is changing in Nigeria as the South has finally woken up to the reality. The south seems to agree that the era of divide and rule orchestrated by the North to divide and keep the vibrant South down while dominating and siphoning their resources into a desert that will never produce any green vegetation.

Just recently the Southern governors spoke in one voice despite their party affiliations by condemning the spate of killing by blood thirsty fulani herdsmen through banning opening grazing.

The news shocked the North as the never thought that the South and more precisely the Igbos and Yorubas will ever agree on one thing, a strategy they have used to dominate them over and over again by setting them up against each other while they laugh in secretly as they siphon the resources from the south and of course hold the region with alot of human and economic resources down.

There was wailing from the entire North, condemning the unity in the south. Even the presidency was quacking and the back dog Garba Shehu had to quickly attack the governors and called their gathering and decisions unconstitutional. Of course the audacious President of Southern Governors group Akeredolu took him to the cleaners, calling him a mere appointee who has no place in our constitution but had the audacity to condenm and call gathering of governors elected by their people unconstitutional. He accused Garba Shehu of being sympathizer of the killer fulani herdsmen that has killed, raped and maimed many in the South since this administration came in place. OF course the response was too strong for Garba Shehu that he could not rebuttle neither has he responded till this day.

Just few days again, for the second time in this short space of time, the governors met again and agreed to another stunner, that 2023 President belongs to the South in tandem with the rotational presidency being practiced since this dispensation.

To me this is the game changer. This is it for me. Time is up for the North and their deceit and treachery to hoodwink South and use us to win election by dividing South against itself especially Ibos against Yorubas just continue to hold them down and hold back the potential of the South to build a better and equitable spciet that will benefit all and sundry irrespective of your tribe or religion. A society for everyone, a philosophy that is germaine to the  North because the North thrives in enslaving the masses for the selfish gain of few who think the are the lords of the ring.

The South also made another bold statement by insisting on ELECTORAL LAW that recognizes transmission of results through electronic means to further reduce election mal practices that have remained the bane of our previous elections.  

Suddenly, there is light at the end of the tunnel and the future of Nigeria looks bullish as the South can now speak in one voice, the only way to emancipate our vibrant youths form the hands of the oppressors.

This is the only way to rescue this house from the cankerworms.
