PETER OBI IGNITES A MOVEMENT MADE IN HEAVEN

 

When Peter Obi announced his plan to run for The Presidency, no one gave him a chance. It was adjudged to be mere participation with the plan B to become Vice President of Atiku or any one else. But right from the outset, he did not hide his serious and commitment to this course by undertaking an engagement journey that will see him be the first candidate to visit all the 35 states of the country except Adamawa state which he left as a mark of respect for his former boss as he calls him, Atiku Abubakar.

The more he continued to Criss cross around the entire country with his message of Hope, to salvage the country, give the youths a better life through creation of wealth and jobs to end poverty and production as against consumption capital we have come to be, the more the message resonates across all the four corners of this country.

The tipping point that fully changed the game and exploded his message and popularity was after he granted Brekete Family Radio Station interview in Abuja. His messages resonated among all nationalities who live in Abuja and other environs like Nasarawa State and Kaduna that always listen to that station. His name became household name and subject of discussion at dinning table of all families irrespective of their religion and nationality.

The second phase of the explosion of his brand which was now becoming a household name came after the #1MillionMatch4PeterObi when all the youths across the federation matched to their PDP offices to call on the delegates to give them Peter Obi at the convention. But PDP and their money bag politics of cash and carry could not listen rather they  forced him to resign his membership as he will not dent his integrity by meddling in the mud of PDP dirty politics of porridge of Dollars for anyone who was ready to sell his birth right and conscience. Peter Obi is not the one to mortgage his conscience or sell out his growing massive supporters who are youths that believe in him as a different brand of politician.

To compound the woes of PDP, he did not only leave them, but few days after he joined an unknown party then called Labour Party.

Many of his detractors laughed and mocked that he has embarked on the journey of oblivion as he has joined a party without any structure and no known money bag politician who can bankroll the campaign. They mocked that he is finished but no one writes Peter Obi off. Man is a lion and shrewd professional whose style of politics is that of Obama and US which is based on strategy and not on how much Dollar you can share to buy people’s conscience only to recoup your money when elected as practised here in Nigeria.

So out of the blues while everyone was asleep, he woke up with a movement that is self funding and has gulvanised Nigerian youths from across all regions of this country as they have found a symbol of unity, success and hope who they believe his message and trust he will not betray them.

As the movement started growing in leaps and bound first from the social media, they said oh its mere social media excitement by people who do not have PVC to vote. He continued to deliver his message of hope and reminded his supporters that this movement will not accomplish its goals on social media if there is no PVC to vote on election day or structure across all the federation to vote, and protect their votes as soldiers of the movement.

The youths were gulvanised to go get their PVC before the window closes by June 30^th and this has created an upsurge that is unprecedented and proving tough for INEC to meet the demand. Many of the #EndSars leaders and all those who identified with the Soro Soke movement all embraced the movement as their only hope to build a better future away from the cankerworms and from the money bag political parties. The youths suddenly woke up to realise that the grand fathers of corruption in Nigeria will finally finish anything that remains of the youths with another 8years of hell fire if any of them is elected for another 8 years again after Buhari. Many of the youths realised that another 8 years will mean 16 years of their lives waisted with no job, no future and nothing to show for their existence and of course living in hell without light, no food, and no future.

This was enough motivation for all the youths to sleep at INEC registration centres to make sure they are registered and to join the movement by joining campaign groups and the Labour Party to become the structure which other parties have mocked that does not exist in LABOUR party.

Today, the narrative is changing day by day. Many are joining the Labour party, many are donating their money, others are printing campaign materials while others are donating their time to work and campaign for this symbol of hope.

The movement is gradually growing beyond even the founder himself as churches are donating their churches to support the movement, while also mandating their members to endeavour to go get their PVC with some issuing statement saying no PVC, no entry.

Markets that do turn over of Billions on Naira Daily are closing with a mandate to their members to go get their PVC as it will soon become the only ID to allow u open your shop by the Union that govern those markets like multi Billion Naira Alaba International Market that has been recognised and used as case study in Harvard School of Studies US.

Just few weeks ago out of the blues, one Okafor came online to claim ownership of Labour party to create impression that the party is factionalised and his faction as he claimed was the recognised one. Few days ago it was reported that they went ahead to conduct their own Primaries and elected a presidential candidate. This seemed to send jitters into the spine of Peter Obi Supporters but that will eventually be so ephemeral that just two days ago it was announced that the so called factional leader has withdrawn and just yesterday, Labour Party issued the Certificate of Return to Peter Obo as their authentic Presidential Candidate also recognised by INEC.

This means that the movement will enter the next level of building a strong structure across all the 774 Local Govts in Nigeria and of course opening campaign offices in all the states too to get set for the official lifting of campaign Ban by INEC to herald the beginning of campaigns.

Gradually, the lines are falling in for this most competent great leader of our time whom many have described as the one Jesus our Saviour described in the Bible as Peter the rock upon which He will build his  church. This movement is indeed made in heaven. Have you joined, what are you waiting for? Don’t be left out. This is for your future and that of your children.
