OBASANJO CALLS FOR CANCELLATION OF ELECTIONS

 

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has called for INEC to cancel the elections for areas where BVAS was not used to transmit results and areas where there was no election or there were irregularities.

This is a follow up to the indictment of INEC by US and EU Observers for not making the process transparent and lack of transmission of results thorugh BVAS as promised. This puts questions on the credibility of the elections.

Also major parties like PDP, LP have also called for cancellation of  results if BVAS was not used for the transmission of the result. The parties also worked out on INEC chairman at the collation centre in International Conference Centre Abuja.

With these weighty allegations and issues, its obvious that this election if not cancelled by INEC, will surely be cancelled by the Supreme court.
