US & EU ACCUSE INEC OF LACK OF TRANSPARENCY IN THE ELECTION

US and EU have given their verdict about the just concluded Presidential elections. US through Ambassador Green declared that the process was NOT transparent.

This is an indictment on INEC and a confirmation of what everyone is saying that the election was marred with irregularities and lack of Transparency as INEC refused to transmit the pooling results to the IREV directly from the PU through the BVAS.

Major political parties like Labour party and PDP all worked out on INEC Chairman at the Collation centre in Abuja. The parties are insisting that INEC must STOP further collation until results are published on INEC portal IREV to the viewing public before announcing the results.

This accusation from US has opened INEC up for litigation. This will give voices to Parties at tribunal and in Supreme Court as parties are poised to challenge INEC for the failure to adopt BVAS in collation process which has exposed the process to irregularities.
