LABOUR PARTY STATE CHAIRMEN OVERPOWER POLICE AND INVADERS AND TOOK BACK THEIR HEADOFFICE

Labour Party State Chairmen on Good Friday overpowered Police and invaders who invaded their Head Office in Abuja and chased away the workers and the chairman on Thursday.

You will recall that on Thursday, it was reported that some invaders went to the party office with unknown police and forced the party leaders and staff out of the office on frivolous court order which has since been countered by another court of parallel jurisdiction by Labour Party.

An Edo State High Court sitting in Benin City has restrained the Labour Party (LP) from implementing the suspension issued by some of its suspended party members on Julius Abure, the national chairman of the party, till the determination of a motion on notice.

In the motion exparte obtained by our reporter in Benin City, Justice Emmanuel Ahamioje issued the restraining order on Wednesday while ruling in an ex-parte application filed by George Igbokwe, SAN.

The party invaders were chased out and the party Chairmen reclaimed their office. The chairmen also issued a statement to the press reaffirming that their chairman is Julius Abure.

They also called on ruling party APC to leave the party alone as their are fixated on reclaiming their stolen mandate in court.
