US AND NORTH KOREA SET 2020 DENUCLEARISATION TARGET DATE


The ever anticipated US -NORTH KOREA meeting between Trump and Kim Jon-Un finally came to a reality on June 12th with both power mongering Presidents agreeing on denuclearisation that has a set target of 2020.

Details of the agreement are:

Kim Jung Un pledge a “firm and unwavering commitment to the complete denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula”

The US “committed to provide security guarantees” to North Korea.

Mr Trump said he expected the denuclearisation process to start “very, very quickly”. US secretary of state Mike Pompeo and North Korean officials will hold follow-up negotiations “at the earliest possible date”, the joint statement said.

“The world will see a major change,” the North Korean leader said.
The US and North Korea will also “join their efforts to build a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula”, the agreement stated.
