COURTS STOPS SWEARING IN OF NEW IMO DEPUTY GOVERNOR


The drama taking place in Owerri has continued as Owerri High Court stopped the swearing in of the newly appointed Deputy Governor Mr Callistus Ekenze.

The news came as a shock to may who were sitted in Sam Mbakwe Hall waiting for the ceremony to begin for four hours. Suddenly, the Attorney General of the state broke the news that High Court has stopped the Chief Judge from proceeding with the ceremony.

Okorocha and the guest sitted were all disappointed and people starting leaving the hall with visibly angry and frustrated Okorocha agitated all through.

Recall that just yesterday the Deputy Governor was impeached by the state house of assembly in defiance of another court order that ordered them to stop the impeachment process. But the State legislature went ahead with the impeachment.
