Senator Theordore Orji supported a motion on boundary dispute between Ebonyi and Cross River state presented on the floor by Senator Rose Okoh.
Contributing he said, the issue is not limited to the two states alone, even his State Abia is also entangled in the same boundary imbroglio with her neighbours.
He said creation of States without proper boundary delineation created this problem across the nation. Boundaries have to be properly delineated if we want to solve this lingering issue of boundary dispute yearly.
He went on to say that instead of us to form a common force to fight Boko Haram and Herdsmen, we are busy fighting ourselves, brothers killing each other because of land and its boundary.
Hitherto, Rivers were used as boundaries but since we started discovering oil from rivers, it became an issue he said.
Finally he called on FG to do permanent review of boundary adjustment, while also calling on FG to be ready to give room for concession for people to decide which state to call their own.
