Senator Joshua Lidani representing the good people of Gombe South has cross carpeted from PDP to APC.
This was shockingly announced on the floor of the red chambers during plenary today by senate leader Ahmed Lawan to the delight of APC senators who almost tore his clothes in a rush to drag him to APC row from his former seat.
It was not clear why the senator dumped his former party, but speculations were rife that after he lost his ticket to another candidate, he was aggrieved and decided to leave his former party.
