John Gbor was presented
to all APGA members by Obiano recently as the man that has come too wipe away
their tears in this trying times of economic strangulation brought on us by
incompetent government of APC with misplaced priorities and lack of expertise and
vision to rescue us from economic doldrums they plunged us into.
But alas! As the say,
the snake does not abandon its nature. He has since made
a 360 degrees by now supporting both publicly and clandestinely Buhari, APC
candidate thereby displaying his nature of betrayal again.
APGA followers have
been fooled and played again to satisfy Obiano’s self serving ego and political
ambitions to the detriment of the interest and survival of the entire Igbo Gburu
Gburu, of which the party swore allegiance to protect as the party motto anD
lexicon states Onye Aghala Nwanne Ya (Be Your brother’s keeper).
Unfortunately, Obiano
does not understand the undertones of his party’s motor, neither does he care
about the well being and future of his people Igbo gburu gburu, a people that
have been so pushed to the wall, marginalised and schemed out entirely by this
present APC administration, a party that does not hide its disdain for the Igbos
hence treat us with levity and ignominy.
As it is his nature to
play double standard, he has continued to lead many APGA followers along in
deceit only to leave them in a lurch at this critical hour for his self serving
interests and political ambitions.
Just this week, the
media has been awashed with how he called Chief Nnia Nwodo the President General
of Ohaneze Ndigbo World wide who has staked his life and future interest just to restore the glory of Igbos and put us
on a strong pedestal to negotiate our interest. He rained abuses on this great
son of Igbo for allowing Ime Obi to endorse AtikuObi for 2019 elections.
OhanezeNdigbo has been
positioned under Nwodo to protect and project the interest of all Igbos. The
only sin of Nwodo is he did not endorse Buhai and APC, a party that has
decimated the interest of our people and even killed many of our youths in the
guise of ipob membership through the so called Operation Python Dance (Egwu Eke)
.Obiano out of his infatuation with power which he will relinquish this term is
ready to mortgage the future and interest of all Igbos on the alter of his political
ambitions.
He and his cohorts are
on the street preaching the failed and rejected message of 4 is better than 8, a deceitful message
that is dead on arrival among all Igbos home and in diaspora.
Today his aides in APGA
are heading Buhari Campaign in South East, but everywhere they go, rejection
stares them in the face as people sweep away their evil message and footsteps
from their doorsteps.
The true APGA members
have abandoned him and his Buhari team for realistic team that has vision and
required competence with a well orchestrated plan to restore the glory of our
land and set us on the pedestal for recovery an growth and create jobs for our teeming youths vis a
vis reduce insecurity that is at its peak in the land.
AtikuObi campaign is a
historical and unprecedented campaign with a message that has centred heavily
on Restructuring,
Poverty Alleviation. Human Capital development, Job creation and economy
in general to rescue our nation back on the track of GDP growth to catch up with
our burgeoning population that is growing by about 2.6% while our GDP growth level
has remained at a dismal level of just above 1%.
Our people are not the
gullible type neither do we patronize band wagon politics of one leader says it
all as practised in South West rather we practise politics of performance.
People have seen the distrust
in Obiano and many have regretted ever supporting his second term bid. They
view all the noise he makes for APGA on the media as mere charade, a façade
that will not sway any one any longer.
All Igbos have
concluded to vote AtikuObi come February 16th, to pay back Buhari
and Obiano what they have done to our people. The destiny and future of our
people is more paramount than any fake promises and stories of Buhari has done
well from Obiano to hoodwink our people to vote for such catastrophic failure
in the history of our nation Nigeria again.
