The media is awashed with report that Innoson Motors has got court injunction called Writ of FiFa to seize assets of GTBank worth N8.8B the bank is owing the pioneer auto maker.
GTBank long saw this coming & would have hedged against this heavy liability through mere out of court arrangement & gradual servicing of the facility but instead they chose the way of intimidation & EFCC illegally to cow & intimidate a business mogul who has been in business for decades. Arrogance!
Now they have no option but to face the consequences of this court ruling which includes impending cascade of their stocks in the stock market and other ripple effects including heavy withdrawal or run on the bank from customers who will be jittery about this news and its effects on their funds with the banks.
