Member of Shiite called Islamic Movement of Nigeria forced National Assembly lawmakers to hurriedly close session today as they invaded the premesis after pulling down the gate.
The members have been protesting the arrest and detention of their leader El Zazzaky by the present Govt defying court orders to release the religious leader.
The policemen manning the gate took to their heels after they could not stop the protesters from invading the premesis.
As at press time, it wasnt clear how the situation was brought under control.
