SENATOR ALI NDUME IN SUPPORT OF MY PROPOSAL FOR FOOD BANKS/FOOD STAMP TO SAVE LIVES

In the mist of the food crisis and economic challenges our country Nigeria is going through, i had earlier suggested Govt creating Food Banks across all Local Govts of Nigeria, whereby hungry Nigerians will be allowed to walk in to eat at least one meal a day. This i believe is the sure way to save the number of souls dying and sleeping with their stomachs empty including even pregnant and nursing mothers who are collapsing daily due to hunger.

Similarly, Senator Ndume was on Channels TV yesterday proposing similar solution to reduce the high level of hunger. He is proposing Food Stamp, whereby Nigerians will be given vouchers that will be redeemable by banks.

the most vulnerable whom he suggested will be captured in the data base will collect the vouchers, use it to buy food and the vendor will take it to the bank where it will be redeemed by the Govt.

This is similar to Food Bank i suggested but I still insist that the Food bank across all local Govt in Nigeria where food will be cooked daily and hungry Nigerians can go in to eat daily is the best way to go.

This idea still thrives in Canada and US up till today.
